I'm an acute care surgeon and self-taught artist who lives in Omaha, Nebraska with my wife, two sons, dog, and Amazonian aquarium fish.

I have always loved and appreciated art. I grew up outside of Washington, D.C. in a creative family—my sister, Gracie Terzian, is a singer-songwriter and YouTuber—and I gravitated toward painting during medical school as a hobby and creative outlet. My first paintings were portraits of childhood dogs for family and friends, and my work has evolved considerably since then.

My favorite artist is Vincent van Gogh, and my favorite art movements are Tonalism, Expressionism, Post-Impressionism, and Surrealism. This website serves as a personal portfolio of some of my work, which is influenced by many things but remains primarily a hobby. Painting offers a measure of catharsis amid the demands of a challenging clinical life that I genuinely love.
